- To support service users who live in Bury independently or with family members to live an independent life and to enhance their quality of life. To provide person centred support to develop independent living skills which can include food preparation, budgeting, personal hygiene and personal continence care. To work flexibly to meet the organisations rotas which are designed to meet the needs of the individuals. To promote the health and wellbeing by encouraging and supporting a healthy lifestyle this could include monitoring fluid and nutrition, addressing medical needs.To listen and respond to service users ensuring that rights, dignity and privacy are maintained. Understand and recognise different methods to communicateTo maintain professional relationships in line with the organisations policy's, procedures & values. To undertake appropriate training and participate in team meetings and reflections. To maintain accurate and up to date records in respect of service users and other relevant matters.To undertake an initial 6 week paid induction.
